INDUSTRY - INSTITUTION INTERFACE
The department is actively involved in a lot of consultancy works – material testing, proof checking, design & drafting solutions etc with the leading industrial organizations. Leading experts from industries were invited to give guest lectures on the contemporary developments in civil engineering. Industrial training programmes on employability skills are arranged frequently for students in order to make them industry fit after their graduation. In order to enhance the teaching-learning process, students are taken for on-site field visits to witness the real-time situations, practices and challenges ahead for them.
