ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Candidate’s can get admitted through Government or management quota as per the rules framed by the Tamilnadu state government. The students seeking admission through government has to apply directly to DME after +2 results are announced. The seats will be allotted based on single window system counseling. All the admissions are merit basis.

Admission for B.Pharm,Pharm.D and M.Pharm Program will take place as per the directions given by The Tamil Nadu DR MGR Medical University and DME, Chennai.

Eligibility and Admission to B. Pharm, B.Pharm Lateral Entry and Pharm.D
Programme

Should have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of admitting year.

Candidate belonging to all categories except SC/ST community should have obtained 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Botany & Zoology or Mathematics taken together at the qualifying examination. (Academic stream).For SC/ST candidates the aggregate is 35%.

The candidates who have passed any qualifying examination other than the Higher Secondary Course Examination conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu shall submit the eligibility certificate from the Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University and such admissions are provisional till the University approves.

D.Pharm qualified candidates with 50% marks can directly admitted in second year B.Pharm (Lateral Entry) and in Pharm.D First year. The candidate should produce Diploma certificate, State Pharmacy council Certicifate and the eligibility certificate from the Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University and such admissions are provisional till the University approves.
Eligibility and Admission to M. Pharm, (Pharmaceutics) Programme

B.Pharm qualified candidates with 50% marks can directly admitted in M. Pharm. The candidate should produce Prvisional certificate, State Pharmacy council Certicifate.

He / She has to clear the entrance examination conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME)/ The Tamil Nadu Private Professional College Association Health Sciences (TNPPCA-HS) Chennai.

The candidates, who have passed B.Pharm from other University and other State, shall submit Migration Certificate and the Eligibility certificate from the Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University and such admissions are provisional till the University approves.

Method of Selection & Admission
As per the rules and regulations framed by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
Duration of an Academic Year
One year (12 months). Each academic year consist of not less than 220 working days (Non Semester system).

All the academic program and examinations are conducted as per the rules and regulations of the University. Apart from the regular academic work, the students are expected to undertake a research project work and to submit a project report in the final B Pharm Course. Practical training in hospital pharmacy/industrial pharmacy is included after completion of Third year B. Pharmacy.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
Candidates from other states will be considered as belonging to OC only, irrespective of their community for the purpose of considering minimum eligibility marks.
Application for admission should be made in the prescribed form available along with prospectus. Filled in application forms along with a non-refundable registration fee as stipulated should be sent to the office of the Principal, Surya School Of Engineering and Technology, Chennai Main Road, Vikiravandi, Villupuram District – 605 652.
Tuition and other fees prescribed by the college should be paid in full before the stipulated date. Fee once paid will not be refunded on any account. If any student wishes to leave the course in the middle he / she shall pay the full tuition fee prescribed for the course. Students rusticated from the college shall forfeit all the fees paid.
The decision of the management will be final in all matters relating to admission, training & discipline and will be binding on all the concerned parties.
