Dr S.Anbazhagan is born and brought up from an agriculture family. He has vast experience (19 Years) in teaching and research in the field of pharmacy profession. He has completed Graduation; B.Pharm degree from The Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University on April 1992. He has qualified in all India level GATE examination on GATE 1994 with 79.83 percentile secured 227 all India rank. He has completed Post graduation; M.Pharm degree and Doctoral degree Ph.D in Pharmacy from Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, Jadavpur University, Calcutta (West Bengal) on March 1997and August 2006 respectively.
He is simple and dynamic person actively involved in the various activities such as conducting and attending Conferences, Seminars and Workshops; Deliver Guest lectures’ to pharmacy students, in the different pharmacy profession and associated bodies.
He has guided 15 Post Graduate students to award Master degree by The Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University.
He is an approved Guide and Co-guide by the different universities such as Nagarjuna University-Guntur, Krishna University-Machilipattnam, Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University-Hyderabad and Kakinada; Andhra Pradesh and CMJ University- Meghalaya. He is guiding 8 Ph.D Scholars. His Teaching experience has been ratified by Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University-Hyderabad; Andhra Pradesh on 2010.
He has published research articles in National (14) and international Journals (23).

The primary task of a higher education institution is to provide world class quality education in pharmacy, while opening the portals of higher education to students from rural and backward areas and marginalized families. The talents and skills in our youth should be recognized to equip and enable them to meet the emerging challenges and demands in the pharmacy profession. Providing urban amenities to rural areas is a prerequisite to achieve a 'Developed India'. Higher education should empower the rural population on par with the urban community.
