About Principal.
Dr. V.Kalyana Chakravarthy is currently the Principal, Surya School of Engineering & Technology, Vikiravandi, Villupuram, after serving as the HOD- Department of Aeronautical Engineering at School of Engineering & Technology for seven years. His vision is to develop Surya Group of Institutions into a World Class Institution and his mission is to disseminate high quality technical education among the youth and inculcate values and ethics.
Prof. Dr. V.Kalyana Chakravarthy did his B.E in Mechanical Engineering at Bangalore University, Karnataka and later he joined the prestigious Bharathiyar University, Tamilnadu for his postgraduate program M.E in Industrial Engineering. He completed his Ph.D at Sri Krishna Devaraya University, Andhra Pradesh from the Department of OR & SQC in the area of Assignment Models in Supply chains using Genetic Algorithms.
He has put in just about two decades of service in the teaching profession in various capacities. He is actively involved in research and his research areas include Supply chain management with OR models and Genetic Algorithms. He has about eight papers to his credit in International Journals, and International Conferences.
