A diploma in Pharmacy is a short-term programme for those who desire to begin a career in the field of pharmacy.
It is a 2-year full-time diploma programme that prepares individuals to work in hospitals, community pharmacies, and other pharmaceutical-related sectors.
Highlights of the Programme

Provide skills and knowledge about the preparation and analysis of medicines in different dosage forms.

Imparts knowledge and develop skills on preparation of ointments, powder mixing, tablets, compounding or dispensing of drugs and injections on the prescription of a medical practitioner.

The Diploma in Pharmacy curriculum includes foundational Pharmacy education such as the use of chemistry in the pharmaceutical business, as well as theoretical and practical principles of biochemistry, Anatomy and Physiology, Health education, Pharmacology and toxicology, Pharmacognosy, Community pharmacy, Hospital pharmacy and social pharmacy.

Provide training in modern Pharmacy with different modules.

After completing the final exam of IInd year D.Pharm the candidate must undergo 500 hours of practical Hospital training in Govt. Hospital/Dispensary/ Pharmacy recognized by PCI, New Delhi.
